Stability at the top:Supervisory Board extends Markus Haas' contract as CEO of O2 Telefónica until the end of 2028

The Supervisory Board of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG has extended the contract of CEO Markus Haas (52) for a further three years from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028. His current contract and the appointment as CEO has a term until 31 December 2025. Markus Haas has been CEO of Telefónica Deutschland since January 2017. Markus Haas has further developed Telefónica in Germany in recent years as CEO together with his team and led the company to its current strength. I am confident that Markus Haas at the helm of the Telefónica team in Germany will continue to actively shape the telecommunications market and successfully navigate the company in a dynamic environment,” says Peter Löscher, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG.
