Telecommunications provider O₂ Telefónica closed the 2024 financial year with a strong operating result (EBITDA) and continued dynamic customer growth. With 824,000 net new contract connections in the reporting period, the company grew faster than the market.

The Supervisory Board of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG has extended the contract of CEO Markus Haas (52) for a further three years from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028
