O2 Telefónica welcomes Lyca Mobile Germany as it’s newest partner on its mobile network. This further strengthens the company's position in the wholesale segment. Effective immediately, Lyca Mobile, one of the world's leading international mobile virtual network operators (MVNO), will offer its customers in Germany with mobile services via the high-performance network infrastructure of O2 Telefónica.

Lyca Mobile operates in over 20 countries and provides mobile services to customers in approximately 100 international destinations. With this switch to O2 Telefónica, Lyca Mobile’s new and existing customers will benefit from an enhanced mobile experience, supported by one of the most reliable networks in Germany.

The O2 Telefónica network scores with high performance and reach

In mobile communications, O2 Telefónica serves over 45 million mobile lines (including M2M). No other network operator in this country connects more people. The O2 Telefónica’s 5G network already reaches 96 percent of the population. The trade magazine connect has rated the quality of the O2 Telefónica network as ‘very good’ for four consecutive years. The CHIP ranking also awarded the O2 Telefónica 5G network the top mark of ‘very good.’
