Start of cash capital increase:Next step in the acquisition of E-Plus
Today Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG is beginning with the implementation of the cash capital increase for the partial financing of the cash consideration for the acquisition of E-Plus. The management board, with the consent of the supervisory board, today set the subscription price for the new shares and further details of the execution of the cash capital increase.
Telefónica Deutschland acquires E-Plus from the Dutch telecommunications provider KPN with the payment of an acquisition price and a transfer of shares of the new extended company.
In order to generate the money for the payment, Telefónica Deutschland now implements a cash capital increase. It is intended to raise gross issue proceeds of approximately EUR 3.62 billion.
